This project included a creation of an original branding identity for the MSU Denver Hospitality department and incorporating it into a beer label design. The context surrounding this project was as memorabilia for an alumni of that program that passed away, who's name is Chris Thibodeau. Since Chris Thibodeau was a veteran, the beer was created to promote a fund that can be given to veterans at MSU Denver to help pay for tuition.

Process
While working on this project, I brainstormed by creating a mind map and writing down imagery that could be connected with both Chris Thibodeau's background in the air force, and his relationship with the brewing department. This resulted in sticking with the imagery of the sky and contrails from a plane creating the name of the beer, JP-8. The clouds were supposed to symbolize his kind and caring personality, and also the great heights he brought the Brewing Department at MSU Denver. I combined this imagery with my skillset in illustrating, resulting in a very illustrative brandmark and label design.
